​Most soap dishes fail to meet these challenges:

• Water wicks between and clings to all the places where the soap bar is even just close to being in contact with the soap dish. 
• Capillary action and surface tension cause these to be wet places where soap will soften.   
• Our sculpted soap dish design results in only small, smooth-surface contact points, allowing the water to  drain off and the soap to begin air drying between uses.

Due to the curvature of this soap dish, the soap is elevated from the well, allowing air circulation around the bar to begin drying between uses. 

Cleanup is Easy
The drainage well is wide yet deep, allowing for very easy cleanup if necessary. Soap Bar Lounge’s glazed ceramic soap dishes are also dishwasher safe for further ease of clean up.
